Shopping vintage and preloved is a little different from buying new. Here’s how to make sure your new find fits just right:

Measure something you already love

Grab a similar item from your wardrobe, lay it flat and measure it. Then compare those measurements to the ones listed on the product page. It’s the easiest way to get a feel for how it’ll fit.

Measurements are of the garment, not your body

All items are measured laid flat, on the outside of the garment. They’re not body measurements, so comparing them to something you already own works best.

Sizes are based on modern UK sizing

Vintage sizing can vary wildly from today’s standards. The size listed is based on modern UK sizing, not necessarily what’s written on the original tag.
